The Hand Position Sheet details the correct Posture for
maximizing your playing using MATCHED GRIP. The
Warm Up Exercises are the ones that you will be expected
to have COMPLETLY memorized by the first day of band
camp in August. Always practice the exercises with a
metronome, and realize that each exercise targets a
specific problem area in controling your "CHOPS".
Make sure that you can play ALL of the exercises
SLOWLY & CORRECTLY
with control, HANDS & FEET, marking time, and
using proper sticking before you start cranking up
the metronome speed.
